    What is the format of the PgMP exam?

    The PgMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition. Questions span five performance domains and are delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a test centre.

    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The PgMP exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours (240 minutes). It uses single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice formats.

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It must be passed in addition to the written exam to earn the credential.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all five domains.

    What happens if I do not pass the PgMP exam first time?

    You are permitted up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our preparation, mock exams and trainer support are designed to help you pass with confidence.

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PgMP Examination Content Outline and Handbook, an overview of the 4th edition Standard for Program Management, templates, flashcards and topic-wise quizzes.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes mapped to the exam format, helping you identify weak areas and build readiness for the 170-question, four-hour exam.

    Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

    Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the contact hours earned through the programme, which support your PgMP application.

    What are the eligibility requirements to sit the PgMP exam?

    PMI offers three sets. Set A: a secondary diploma plus 48 months of project management experience or an active PMP, and 84 months of programme management experience. Set B: a four-year degree plus the same 48 months (or PMP) and 48 months of programme experience. Set C: a GAC-accredited degree with 36 months each. All experience must be within the past 15 years.
