What are the two levels of the Jira course?

Fundamentals (2 days, 16 hours) covers projects, issues, Scrum and Kanban boards, sprints, roadmaps, filters, basic JQL and Agile reports. Advanced (3 days, 24 hours) covers workflow design, schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, automation, integrations and Jira administration.

Do I need prior experience to attend?

No for Fundamentals; it is designed for people new to Jira, and basic Agile familiarity helps but is not required. For Advanced, you should have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience.

Which version of Jira does the training use?

The training is delivered on Jira Cloud, Atlassian's primary delivery model, so what you practise reflects the current platform most teams use. Concepts also apply to Jira Data Center for self-managed environments.

How much does Jira training in Bulgaria cost?

Do I need a paid Jira licence to take the course?

Assessment

Is there an exam for the Jira course?

No. This is a practical skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Jira exercises and configuration activities throughout each level, so you finish able to apply Jira on the job.

Do I receive a certificate after the training?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning after meeting the course requirements. It confirms the practical Jira skills you have built; it is a record of completion rather than a formal external certification.

How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you practise continuously in a live Jira environment through realistic Agile delivery exercises, building genuine proficiency you can demonstrate at work from your first sprint.

Will I be able to use Jira confidently afterwards?

Yes. After Fundamentals you can create projects, manage issues, run boards and sprints and read Agile reports. After Advanced you can design workflows, configure schemes, write advanced JQL, build automation and administer a Jira instance.

Do both levels include hands-on practice?

Yes. Both Fundamentals and Advanced are built around live exercises in a Jira environment. You configure projects, boards, workflows and automation yourself as you learn, so the skills stick and transfer straight to your day-to-day work.

What topics does the Jira training cover?

Fundamentals covers projects, the issue hierarchy, Scrum and Kanban boards, sprints, roadmaps, versions, filters, basic JQL and Agile reports. Advanced covers workflows, permission and notification schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, automation, DevOps integrations and administration.

Will I learn JQL and Jira reporting?

Yes. You learn to build saved filters and write Jira Query Language to find and report on issues precisely, and to interpret velocity, burndown, sprint and cumulative flow reports that teams and managers rely on.

Does the course cover Jira automation and integrations?

Yes, at the Advanced level. You build automation rules with triggers, conditions and actions, and learn to connect Jira with Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end DevOps delivery visibility.

Is the training hands-on or theory-based?

It is strongly hands-on. Your trainer demonstrates each feature while you follow along in a Jira environment, using realistic Agile software delivery scenarios so you build proficiency through practice, not just explanation.
