    Do I need to buy the Microsoft Project software separately?

    Assessment

    Is there an exam at the end of the course?

    No. Neither the Fundamentals nor the Advanced level includes an exam. Learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Microsoft Project exercises using realistic project scenarios, so you build proficiency by practising throughout the training.

    Do I receive a certificate after completing the training?

    Yes. After completing each level you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. It recognises the practical Microsoft Project skills you have developed, which are immediately applicable to your day-to-day project work.

    How is my learning assessed during the course?

    Learning is assessed informally through hands-on exercises rather than a formal test. You follow along in Microsoft Project as the trainer demonstrates each feature, then complete practical tasks on realistic scenarios that confirm you can apply the skills.

    Will the training prepare me to use Microsoft Project at work?

    Yes. The course is built around practical, job-ready capability. By the end you can create schedules, link tasks, assign and level resources, set baselines, track progress and report on projects using the tool your team relies on every day.

    Does the course cover the latest version of Microsoft Project?

    The training covers current Microsoft Project features across the desktop editions and Project Online within Microsoft 365. The scheduling, resourcing, tracking and reporting skills you learn apply across recent versions of the software.

    Course Content

    What topics does the Microsoft Project training cover?

    Fundamentals covers project setup, work breakdown structures, task dependencies, the critical path, resources, baselines, tracking and reporting. Advanced adds task types, resource levelling, cost management and Earned Value, custom views and reports, master projects and what-if analysis.

    Should I take Fundamentals or Advanced?

    Take Fundamentals if you are new to Microsoft Project or use it occasionally and want a solid scheduling foundation. Take Advanced if you already use it regularly and want to master resource levelling, Earned Value, custom reporting and multi-project management. You can attend either level independently.

    Do I need prior experience to attend?

    The Fundamentals level has no prerequisites; basic familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office helps but is not required. For the Advanced level you should have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on experience using Microsoft Project.

    Do I need Microsoft Project installed before the training?

    Yes. You should have Microsoft Project installed and accessible on your device so you can follow the hands-on exercises throughout. Check with us about trial licence availability, or arrange access before your session begins.

    Does the course cover resource levelling and Earned Value?

    Yes, both are covered in the Advanced level. You learn automatic and manual resource levelling to resolve over-allocation, and how Microsoft Project calculates Earned Value metrics such as SPI and CPI so you can report project performance to stakeholders.

    How do I enrol in Microsoft Project training in Armenia?
