Why Armenian Employers Need Skilled Business Analysts

    Talent Supply Gap

Armenia's tech sector grows 20 to 25% a year, and demand for skilled analysts is outstripping local supply, so certified BAs who can scope and shape requirements are in short supply.

BA certification makes you stand out

    Requirements Failures

Many Yerevan software and fintech projects still fail on unclear or shifting requirements. Trained analysts who elicit, document and manage requirements close that costly gap.

Learn requirements engineering end to end

    Fintech and Digital Banking Change

Ameriabank, Ardshinbank and new fintech entrants are digitising services fast, driving demand for analysts who can translate business needs into clear IT requirements.

Bridge business needs and IT delivery

    Global Hubs Raising the Bar

With Synopsys, EPAM, Adobe and NVIDIA running hubs in Armenia, employers expect internationally benchmarked BA skills, exactly what the EXIN BCS route certifies.

    Earn an internationally benchmarked credential

    Agile Delivery Pressure

As teams shift to agile product delivery, organisations need analysts fluent in user stories, backlog refinement and stakeholder management, not just documentation.

Master user stories and stakeholder work

    Strategy to Delivery Disconnect

Boards fund transformation, but weak links between strategy and the funded work cause value leakage that skilled business analysts are hired to identify and fix.

    Connect analysis to business value

    General

What are the EXIN BCS Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certifications?

They are a two-level qualification developed by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Foundation validates knowledge of business analysis concepts across 14 topic areas, and Practitioner validates the ability to apply those techniques in realistic project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take the BA Foundation and Practitioner course?

It suits aspiring business analysts, IT and testing professionals moving into analysis, project managers adding BA skills, product owners, and practising analysts who want to formalise their knowledge. There are no formal prerequisites for the Foundation level, so beginners are welcome.

Is business analysis certification worth it in Armenia?

Yes. Demand for analysts is rising as Armenia's tech sector grows 20 to 25% a year and talent supply lags behind. Certified analysts qualify for business analyst, product owner and senior roles, with senior bands in Yerevan reaching around 13M dram a year. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

Do these credentials expire or need renewal?

No. Both the EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner certifications are for lifetime. Neither credential expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you pass.

What is the connection between EXIN and BCS?

Both credentials are examined by EXIN and developed and quality-assured in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, the UK's chartered professional body for IT. The exams are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so the certification carries strong international recognition.

    Pricing

How much does the Business Analysis certification training cost in Armenia?

Training is priced as a combined package covering both levels and is available on request, as it varies by format and schedule. The fee typically bundles courseware, mock exams and support. Request a quote for current pricing in Armenia and any group offers.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee usually includes EXIN BCS-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, learner support, and a course completion certificate. Confirm the exact inclusions, including exam vouchers, with our team before enrolling.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion varies by package. Some bundles include the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others price them separately. Ask a learning advisor to confirm what your chosen package covers.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams in Armenia. Contact us for a tailored quote for your delivery, product or analysis team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you best.

    Exam

How many exams are in the combined programme?

Two separate EXIN exams. The Foundation exam has 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions, and the Practitioner exam has 40 scenario-based multiple-choice questions. You must pass both to hold both credentials.

What is the format of each exam?

Both exams are closed book, 40 questions, and 60 minutes long. Foundation uses straightforward single-answer questions to test knowledge and comprehension, while Practitioner uses scenario-based questions that test how you apply techniques in realistic project situations.

    What is the passing score?

The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. The same threshold applies to the Foundation and the Practitioner exam.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can re-sit the exam by booking another attempt through EXIN. Our training includes mock exams and practice questions for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly and sit each exam with confidence. Verify the current re-sit policy with EXIN.

Where can I take the EXIN BCS exams?

You can sit both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system from home or the office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Exams are typically arranged through the training provider as part of the combined programme.

Are there prerequisites for the exams?

The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The EXIN BCS Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level, which is why the combined course covers Foundation first, then Practitioner.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the training?

The programme covers the full syllabus: Foundation topics such as investigation techniques, requirements engineering, business process modelling, stakeholder management, strategy analysis and business case development, followed by the seven applied Practitioner topics that put those techniques into project scenarios.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation level requires no prior experience or formal qualifications, so beginners and career changers can start here. The course builds from core concepts up to applied Practitioner technique, with trainer guidance and practice throughout.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full mock exams aligned to both the Foundation and Practitioner formats, plus industry case studies, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness before each exam.

    How long is the training?

The combined instructor-led programme runs for 32 hours, delivered as a 4-day intensive or spread across more days depending on the daily schedule. Foundation content is typically covered first, followed by Practitioner content.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner examination specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so what you study reflects what the exams assess.

How do I enrol in the course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Our team can guide you through exam booking with EXIN.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual instructor-led training, classroom training, and customised corporate group training. This lets individual learners and teams in Armenia choose the format that fits their schedule and learning preference.
