What Kanban Training Delivers for Teams in VietnamUntitledA Practical Pull-System Skillset

Kanban Training in Vietnam gives professionals a practical, one-day route into pull-based workflow management, the visual system that authorises work only when real downstream demand calls for it. Rooted in the Toyota Production System, where Taiichi Ohno first used kanban signals to eliminate overproduction and enable Just-in-Time production, the method now spans both the factory floor and knowledge work. The programme covers manufacturing Kanban (production and withdrawal kanban, supermarkets and kanban sizing) and the knowledge-work framework formalised by David J. Anderson for software, IT and service teams: Kanban boards, work-in-progress (WIP) limits, flow metrics, the cumulative flow diagram and Scrumban. You learn to visualise work, limit overcommitment and shorten lead time. With Vietnam's electronics, manufacturing and software sectors scaling fast, employers value people who can make flow visible and predictable. This is a non-certification skills course, so you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning along with capability you can put to work the next day.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Kanban is a visual, pull-based system for managing workflow. This one-day course covers both manufacturing Kanban (kanban cards, supermarkets, sizing and Just-in-Time) and knowledge-work Kanban (boards, WIP limits, flow metrics and Scrumban), so you can apply it on a production line or a software board.

    General

What is Kanban and what does this course cover?

Kanban is a visual, pull-based system for managing workflow. This one-day course covers both manufacturing Kanban (kanban cards, supermarkets, sizing and Just-in-Time) and knowledge-work Kanban (boards, WIP limits, flow metrics and Scrumban), so you can apply it on a production line or a software board.

Who should attend Kanban training in Vietnam?

The training suits production and Lean engineers, supply chain and operations managers, Scrum Masters, Agile coaches, IT and software delivery managers, and project managers. Anyone responsible for how work flows through a production or service system will benefit.

Is Kanban only for manufacturing or also for software teams?

Both. Kanban began in the Toyota Production System for pull production, and was later formalised by David J. Anderson for knowledge work. The course teaches manufacturing pull systems and Agile Kanban boards, so it fits factory, IT and service teams alike.

Do I need Lean experience before taking the course?

No. There are no prerequisites. The course introduces all Kanban concepts from first principles. Some familiarity with Lean or production helps for the manufacturing modules, but it is not required to attend or benefit.

How long is the Kanban training and in what format?

The programme runs for one day (eight hours) and covers all six Kanban modules with hands-on exercises. It is available in live virtual, classroom and corporate onsite formats across Vietnam.

Is learning Kanban worth it for my career in Vietnam?

Yes. Vietnam's growing electronics, manufacturing and software sectors depend on smooth flow, and Lean and flow skills are in short supply. Being able to run pull systems and Kanban boards makes you valuable for production, operations and delivery roles.

    Pricing

How much does Kanban training in Vietnam cost?

Fees vary by delivery format (live virtual, classroom or corporate onsite) and group size. Pricing is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a quote that fits your needs, or ask about group and corporate rates.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all six modules, structured courseware, hands-on Kanban design exercises, templates and learner support, plus a course completion record from Invensis Learning.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams and departments. It is ideal for training a production, IT or delivery team together. Request a group quote for details.

Are there any extra fees beyond the training fee?

No. As a non-certification course, there is no separate exam or awarding-body fee. The training fee covers the programme and its included resources. Any optional add-ons are confirmed upfront before you enrol.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and offer flexible options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you or your organisation.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for the Kanban course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on kanban sizing, board design and flow exercises during the day, rather than a formal test.

Do I receive a certificate after the training?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning after finishing the programme. No formal certification or credential is awarded by an external body, as Kanban training has no governing exam.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

Learning is applied, not examined. You work through practical exercises such as kanban quantity calculation, loop design, Kanban board design, WIP-limit setting and cumulative flow diagram interpretation on realistic scenarios.

    Is this a certification course?

No. It is a practical skills training programme. There is no certifying body, exam or credential. The value is the capability you gain to design and run Kanban systems in manufacturing and knowledge-work settings.

Will the training help on the job without a certification?

Yes. The skills are immediately applicable and do not expire. You leave able to size kanban loops, set WIP limits, measure flow and plan a Kanban rollout, which is what employers actually need on the ground.

    Course Content

What topics does the Kanban syllabus cover?

The syllabus spans Kanban origins and pull production, manufacturing Kanban types and mechanics, kanban sizing and implementation, knowledge-work boards and WIP limits, flow metrics and the cumulative flow diagram, and implementing and sustaining Kanban.

Does the course teach WIP limits and flow metrics?

Yes. You learn why work-in-progress limits improve flow and how to set them, plus how to measure lead time, cycle time and throughput, apply Little's Law and read the cumulative flow diagram to find bottlenecks.

Will I learn to size a manufacturing kanban system?

Yes. You practise calculating kanban quantities and the number of cards using demand, lead time and a safety factor, and you design supermarkets and loops linked to takt time, following the six Toyota Production System kanban rules.

Does the training cover Scrumban and digital Kanban tools?

Yes. The course explains Scrumban, which combines Kanban with Scrum, and references digital Kanban tools such as Jira, Trello and Azure DevOps used to run boards in software and IT teams.

    What hands-on practice is included?

Exercises run throughout the day: push versus pull identification, kanban quantity calculation, kanban loop design for a manufacturing scenario, Kanban board design for a software or IT scenario, WIP-limit setting and cumulative flow diagram interpretation.
