How long is the ASM certification valid?

What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions. You can take it online with proctoring or at an accredited test location.

How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. The questions are distributed across the five EXIN ASM topic areas.

What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

You need 65% to pass, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly.

What topics does the ASM exam cover?

The exam spans five areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Master Role (25%), Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control (27.5%), Complex Projects (12.5%) and Adopting Agile (15%).

Where and how do I take the EXIN exam?

You can sit the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited test location. Your training provider can help you book it.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?
