    How many attempts do I get for the CSM exam?

    Candidates typically have up to three attempts to pass the CSM exam within 90 days of completing the course. Verify the current attempt policy with Scrum Alliance before you sit the exam.

    Which standard is the CSM exam based on?

    The exam is based on the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives, aligned to the current Scrum Guide (November 2020, Schwaber and Sutherland). That 2020 edition introduced the Product Goal and the three commitments used across the framework.
