    What is the format of the two PRINCE2 Agile exams?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, testing knowledge and comprehension. The Practitioner exam is open book, using the PRINCE2 Agile publication, with scenario-based questions that test how you apply and tailor the method.

    How many questions are on each exam and how long are they?

    The Foundation exam has 40 questions and lasts 60 minutes. The Practitioner exam has 50 questions and lasts 150 minutes. Both are delivered online proctored or at PeopleCert test centres.

    What is the passing score for each exam?

    Both exams require 60% to pass. That is 24 out of 40 correct at Foundation and 30 out of 50 correct at Practitioner. You must sit and pass both exams to hold both credentials.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    You may use the PRINCE2 Agile publication during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario-based questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the publication and solid method knowledge are both needed.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can resit the exam through PeopleCert; re-sit policies and fees are set by PeopleCert, so verify current terms at peoplecert.org. Our trainers focus on scenario practice and exam technique for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly. Talk to an advisor about retake support.
