What Is Business Process Management?UntitledA Skill Every Organisation Needs

Business Process Management (BPM) training in Slovakia gives you a structured, end-to-end method for identifying, modelling, analysing, improving and monitoring the processes that run an organisation. BPM is the discipline of making work flow better across departments so it delivers real value to the customer, and this one-day programme teaches it from first principles. Across the day you cover the full six-phase BPM lifecycle, from identifying and modelling processes to analysing, redesigning, implementing and continuously improving them. You learn to draw clear process models using BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation), the international standard maintained by the Object Management Group and published as ISO/IEC 19510, and you see how BPM supports the ISO 9001:2015 process approach and complements Lean and Six Sigma. The course is grounded in the recognised BPM body of knowledge, including the ABPMP BPM CBOK, and is suited to business analysts, process owners, operations managers, IT professionals and quality practitioners in any sector. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination; you finish with hands-on capability and a course completion record from Invensis Learning that you can apply the very next day.

Why Process Skills Pay off at WorkFor Learners and the Organisations They Serve

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

This training helps you turn everyday process frustration into measurable improvement. You learn a repeatable method for documenting how work really flows, finding where it breaks down, and redesigning it to be faster, cheaper and more consistent. Whether you are a business analyst formalising your modelling technique, a process owner taking accountability for performance, or an operations professional in a Bratislava or Kosice service centre, the skills map directly to what your role demands.

Because BPM applies to every function and every industry, the capability travels with you. You leave able to model processes in BPMN 2.0, analyse them for waste, redesign them with proven principles, and set up the measurement and governance that keeps improvement going.

    • Model any process clearly using the BPMN 2.0 standard that employers recognise
    • Spot waste, bottlenecks and rework through structured process analysis
    • Redesign processes using simplification, standardisation and automation
    • Define meaningful KPIs such as lead time, cycle time and first-pass yield
    • Speak a common process language shared across operations, IT and quality teams
    • Support automation, RPA and digital transformation with sound process foundations
    • Strengthen your profile for process, operations and improvement roles in Slovakia
    • Apply practical skills immediately, with no exam to sit and no renewal to manage
    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Group BPM training equips teams to manage and improve processes with one consistent method. Delivered for operations, IT, quality and shared services teams, it creates the shared language and technique that process improvement depends on. For organisations in Slovakia moving from transactional work to higher-value process design and automation, the training builds the internal capability needed to make that shift stick.

When cross-functional teams learn BPM together, they can model their own real processes during the session and leave with immediate, practical outcomes. The result is standardised practice, better decisions and a workforce that thinks in terms of end-to-end value, not siloed tasks.

    • Build a shared process language across departments and business units
    • Standardise how work is documented, measured and improved
    • Prepare processes so automation and RPA are built on solid foundations
    • Reduce cost, cycle time and rework through disciplined process design
    • Strengthen the ISO 9001 process approach with formal BPM methodology
    • Upskill cross-functional teams together with tailored, on-site delivery
    • Embed process ownership and governance that sustains results
    • Turn improvement from one-off projects into an ongoing capability

Process Pressures Driving Demand for BPM in Slovakia

    The Move to Higher-Value Work

Slovak service centres are shifting from routine transactions to process design, analytics and automation. Employers need people who can redesign work, not just run it, and BPM builds exactly that capability.

BPM builds process design and analysis skills

    Automation Built on Shaky Ground

Automating a broken process only makes it fail faster. Many organisations rush into RPA before documenting how work flows, so BPM skills to model and fix processes first are increasingly sought after.

BPM prepares processes for automation and RPA

    Undocumented, Person-Dependent Processes

When processes live only in people's heads, quality and speed suffer and knowledge walks out the door. BPMN 2.0 modelling makes work visible, consistent and ready to improve.

BPM builds BPMN 2.0 modelling skills

    Automotive Retooling for E-Mobility

Slovakia leads the world in cars per capita, and the shift to electromobility and smart production is redrawing processes across plants and suppliers. Process redesign skills are central to that transition.

BPM builds process redesign and coordination skills

    The Digital Upskilling Gap

Service centres report a pressing need to upskill people for digital and process work. Professionals who can model, measure and improve processes are scarce relative to demand across Bratislava and Kosice.

BPM makes process talent stand out

    Pressure on Cost and Efficiency

Margin and capital-efficiency pressure push organisations to cut waste and rebalance work to what adds value. BPM gives teams the tools to optimise processes and prove the savings.

Yes. More than 75,000 people work in Slovakia's business services and technology centres, and as these hubs shift towards process design and automation, employers increasingly seek people who can model and improve processes. Automotive and manufacturing employers value the same skills.

No. The course has no formal prerequisites and introduces BPM from first principles. Some familiarity with business operations helps, but the training is designed to be accessible to newcomers as well as experienced practitioners.

The training is grounded in BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation, published as ISO/IEC 19510), the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK), and the ISO 9001:2015 process approach. It also shows how BPM complements Lean, Six Sigma and digital transformation.

    General

What is Business Process Management (BPM)?

Business Process Management is a structured discipline for identifying, modelling, analysing, improving and monitoring the processes an organisation runs to deliver value. This training teaches the full BPM lifecycle, BPMN 2.0 process modelling and practical improvement techniques in a single one-day programme.

Who should attend this BPM training in Slovakia?

The training suits business analysts, process owners, operations and service delivery managers, IT professionals, quality managers and change practitioners who design, manage or improve processes. It applies to any sector, from shared services and IT to automotive, banking and life sciences.

Are BPM skills in demand in Slovakia?

Yes. More than 75,000 people work in Slovakia's business services and technology centres, and as these hubs shift towards process design and automation, employers increasingly seek people who can model and improve processes. Automotive and manufacturing employers value the same skills.

Do I need prior experience to join?

No. The course has no formal prerequisites and introduces BPM from first principles. Some familiarity with business operations helps, but the training is designed to be accessible to newcomers as well as experienced practitioners.

What standards and frameworks does the training cover?

The training is grounded in BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation, published as ISO/IEC 19510), the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK), and the ISO 9001:2015 process approach. It also shows how BPM complements Lean, Six Sigma and digital transformation.

    Pricing

How much does BPM training cost in Slovakia?

Fees vary by delivery format (live virtual, classroom or corporate) and group size, so pricing is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a quote tailored to individual or team training in Slovakia.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee includes instructor-led training across all six BPM modules, hands-on BPMN modelling and analysis exercises, structured courseware and reference materials, learner support, and a course completion record from Invensis Learning.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams and departments. Ask about corporate or group pricing for a tailored quote.

Is there a separate exam or certification fee?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination, so there is no separate exam or credential fee. The training focuses entirely on building practical process management capability.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Course Content

What topics does the BPM training cover?

The training covers BPM foundations, the six-phase BPM lifecycle, BPMN 2.0 process modelling, process analysis and performance measurement, process design and governance, and BPM technology including BPMS, RPA and continuous improvement.

Will I learn BPMN 2.0 process modelling?

Yes. You learn to build as-is and to-be process models using BPMN 2.0 notation, including events, activities, gateways, sequence flows, pools and swimlanes, with hands-on exercises that turn plain descriptions into clear diagrams.

How long is the BPM training?

The course runs for one day, totalling eight hours, and can also be delivered as two half-day sessions. It covers all six modules with concept explanations, BPMN modelling exercises and process analysis and redesign workshops throughout.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. The programme is practical throughout, with BPMN modelling from verbal process descriptions, process analysis and waste identification, and process redesign exercises applying real improvement principles.

    What materials do I receive?

You receive structured courseware covering all six BPM modules, reference materials on the BPM lifecycle and BPMN 2.0, and exercise and case study content used during the session. A course completion record is issued on finishing.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for this BPM course?

No. This is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on BPMN modelling exercises, process analysis workshops and group discussion during the one-day programme.

Do I get a certificate after the training?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning after completing the programme. This is a record of attendance and practical skills gained, not a certification awarded by an external body, as BPM has no single governing body.

    How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, process modelling exercises, analysis workshops and team activities throughout the day let you apply BPM techniques and check your understanding as you go.

    Does the completion record expire?

No. There is no expiry and no renewal to manage. The BPM skills you learn are immediately applicable and stay relevant, so you can apply them at work without any ongoing maintenance.

How does BPM relate to Lean and Six Sigma?

BPM provides the end-to-end framework for identifying, modelling, governing and improving processes, while Lean and Six Sigma supply specific improvement tools applied within it. The disciplines are complementary, and many professionals use them together.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the BPM course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. A learning advisor can help you pick the right option.

What delivery formats are available in Slovakia?

The training is available as online (live virtual) instructor-led sessions, in-person classroom training, and customised corporate on-site training for teams. Choose the format that best fits your schedule and location.

Can the training be delivered on-site for my team?

Yes. Corporate on-site BPM training is available for teams across Slovakia, including Bratislava and Kosice. It is especially effective because your team can model and improve your own real processes during the session. Ask about corporate training.

    Can I reschedule my booking?

What is the refund or cancellation policy?
