    What is the format of the Green Belt exam?

    The exam is closed book with multiple-choice and true/false questions across the five DMAIC phases. It is delivered online with 24/7 proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are there and how long is it?

    The exam has 100 questions and a three-hour allotted time. Some exam forms include up to 10 additional non-graded questions that do not count toward your score.

    What score do I need to pass?

    You need a minimum of 385 points out of 550. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the five DMAIC phases, so aim for balanced mastery rather than focusing on one area.
