Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

PRINCE2 Practitioner validates your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 principles, practices and processes to a given project scenario. It is designed for project managers, team leaders and aspiring managers who want to run projects using PRINCE2. It sits above Foundation as the advanced credential in the scheme.

    General

What is the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification and who is it for?

PRINCE2 Practitioner validates your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 principles, practices and processes to a given project scenario. It is designed for project managers, team leaders and aspiring managers who want to run projects using PRINCE2. It sits above Foundation as the advanced credential in the scheme.

Is PRINCE2 Practitioner worth it in Jeddah?

Yes. PRINCE2 is listed among the preferred project management certifications by Jeddah employers delivering Vision 2030 construction, logistics and tourism programmes, and industry estimates report a 15 to 25 per cent salary premium for certified project managers in Saudi Arabia. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

Is PRINCE2 Practitioner recognised in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. PRINCE2 is a globally recognised method owned by AXELOS and delivered by PeopleCert, with particular strength across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Saudi Arabia. It is valued by employers in construction, logistics, financial services and government.

What is the difference between PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner?

Foundation tests knowledge of the method at a comprehension level and is closed book. Practitioner is open book and scenario-based, testing your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 in realistic projects. Practitioner requires Foundation, or an accepted equivalent, as a prerequisite.

How long is the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification valid?

PRINCE2 Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking and passing the Practitioner exam, by completing continuing professional development through a PeopleCert MyAxelos subscription, or by passing a higher-level PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 Practitioner training cost in Jeddah?

Instructor-led PRINCE2 Practitioner training is priced by format and provider, and packages usually bundle the training with the exam. Exact PeopleCert exam pricing varies by region and channel. Request a quote for current Jeddah pricing and available batches.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes PeopleCert and AXELOS-aligned courseware, scenario-based practice, mock questions, open-book exam technique drills, learner support and a course completion certificate. Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is an open-book, scenario-based objective test. The PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual is permitted, and questions require analysis and judgment rather than recall. It is delivered online through PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes, or 2 hours 30 minutes, to complete it. Questions are scenario-based across the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus areas.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

Open book means the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual is allowed during the exam. However, questions require you to analyse a scenario and make decisions, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient manual navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential.

What is the passing score for PRINCE2 Practitioner?

The pass mark is 60 per cent, which means at least 42 out of 70 marks. Preparation should focus on applying and tailoring PRINCE2 across the syllabus rather than on memorising the manual.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam through PeopleCert if needed. Our training includes practice and exam technique to prepare you for a first-time pass, and selected plans include additional support. Ask an advisor about re-sit options for your package.

    Course Content

What topics does the training cover?

The programme covers the nine PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus areas: the seven principles, the seven practices, the seven processes, key roles and responsibilities, people management, sustainability and ESG, digital and data management, effective communication, and tailoring PRINCE2 to your needs.

Do I need PRINCE2 Foundation before this course?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is required before the Practitioner exam, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or an IPMA level. If you do not yet hold Foundation, an advisor can guide you to the right starting point.

Which edition of PRINCE2 is the course based on?

The course is aligned to the current PRINCE2 7th Edition, published in 2023 by PeopleCert and AXELOS. This edition introduces the People capability, renames Themes to Practices, and adds sustainability, digital and commercial considerations.

Are practice exams and materials included?

Yes. The programme includes PeopleCert and AXELOS-aligned courseware, scenario-based exercises, practice questions and open-book technique drills mapped to the 56-question, 70-mark Practitioner format, so you can identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Passing the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam then earns your official PeopleCert digital certificate and badge, valid for three years.

How do I enrol in the PRINCE2 Practitioner course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you would like help choosing a batch.

Can a working professional manage the schedule?

Yes. The Practitioner training is designed for working professionals, with weekend, weekday and live online options across a focused schedule. Ask about upcoming batches that suit your working hours in Jeddah.
