    Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Jeddah?

    Yes. Jeddah's Vision 2030 giga-projects, energy programmes and financial institutions increasingly hire credentialed risk specialists, and PMI projects Saudi Arabia will need around 438,000 project management specialists by 2035. The credential helps you access specialist roles and stronger salary bands.

    Is the PMI-RMP recognised in Saudi Arabia?

    Yes. As a PMI credential, the PMI-RMP is recognised by employers globally and is valued on Saudi giga-projects, energy and infrastructure programmes where formal project risk management is contractually required.

    Do I need a PMP before the PMI-RMP?

    No. A PMP is not a prerequisite. You can apply for the PMI-RMP directly based on your project risk management experience and education. Many holders do carry both, as the credentials complement each other.

    How long is the PMI-RMP valid and how do I renew it?

    The PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements programme.

    What is included in the PMI-RMP course fee?

    How much does the PMI-RMP exam cost?

    For reference, PMI lists the exam at around USD 520 for members and USD 670 for non-members; actual fees vary by region, so verify current prices at pmi.org. PMI membership can lower the exam fee and gives access to the Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.

    Is the exam fee included in the training price?

    No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD and you pay it directly to PMI when you apply. The training fee covers your preparation, courseware and support.

    How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 115 questions and lasts 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book and uses multiple-choice questions in single-answer and multiple-answer formats.

    What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

    The January 2022 ECO covers five domains: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

    What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

    How many attempts do I get if I do not pass first time?

    You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from the date your application is approved. Our practice questions and mock exams are designed to help you pass on the first attempt.

    Which standard is the PMI-RMP exam based on?

    What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

    You will learn to plan risk strategy, identify threats and opportunities, run qualitative and quantitative analysis such as Monte Carlo and expected monetary value, plan and implement responses, and monitor and close risks, all mapped to the five ECO domains.

    Does the training satisfy the PMI-RMP education prerequisite?

    The 32 contact hours of instruction fully satisfy the 30-hour risk management education requirement for Set B (bachelor's degree) and Set C (GAC-accredited degree) candidates. Set A (secondary diploma) candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 more hours of study.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP?

    There are three routes: Set A (secondary diploma) needs 36 months of risk experience plus 40 hours of education; Set B (bachelor's degree) needs 24 months plus 30 hours; Set C (GAC-accredited degree) needs 12 months plus 30 hours. Experience must be within the last five years.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the January 2022 ECO, plus topic-wise quizzes, to help you find weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned to the current ECO?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and reflects both predictive and agile or hybrid risk management approaches.
