    What is the format of the EXIN DevOps Master exam?

    The exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the EXIN DevOps Master Examination Specification. It can be taken online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The DevOps Master exam has 40 questions and a duration of 90 minutes (1.5 hours). It is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination.

    What is the passing score for the DevOps Master exam?

    The pass mark is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Preparation across all six topic areas is the best route to a first-attempt pass.

    Do I need DevOps Foundation before DevOps Master?

    EXIN DevOps Foundation is the recommended prerequisite. There is no formal education or experience requirement, but the credential is designed for professionals with practical development, operations or DevOps experience.

    What topic areas does the exam cover?

    Six topic areas per the EXIN examination specification: implementing continuous delivery, designing a DevOps architecture, improving product and process, using Lean management and monitoring, implementing cultural change, and assessing maturity.

    You will learn to build CI/CD pipelines, design DevOps architecture with containers and cloud-native tools, apply the four DORA metrics and SLOs, improve processes with Lean, and lead cultural change using the Three Ways and CALMS.
