    Stronger on Governance and Risk

"I came in confident on delivery but weak on formal governance and risk. The scenario-based sessions changed how I run hybrid projects, and I now lead with far more structure."

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The PMP is PMI's flagship project management credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits project managers, team leads and delivery professionals with experience leading projects.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The PMP is PMI's flagship project management credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits project managers, team leads and delivery professionals with experience leading projects.

Is the PMP worth it for project managers in Serbia?

Yes. As Serbia's ICT exports reach record highs and infrastructure investment grows, employers across IT, banking, telecom and construction actively seek certified project managers. The PMP strengthens your salary potential and opens senior project, programme and PMO roles.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP certification?

There are two paths: a four-year degree plus 36 months leading projects, or a secondary diploma plus 60 months leading projects. Both require 35 contact hours of project management education, which this training provides.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across PMI's Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle.

    Is the PMP recognised internationally?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is widely regarded as the global gold standard of project management. It is referenced in employer job specifications, client contracts and procurement requirements worldwide.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Serbia?

PMP training fees vary by format, whether live virtual, classroom or corporate group training. Pricing for Serbia is available on request. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share current schedules and options.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 35 contact hours of education, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, application guidance and learner support. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI.

How much is the PMP exam fee?

PMI bills the exam fee in USD under regional pricing, around USD 405 for members and USD 555 for non-members; verify current rates on pmi.org. PMI membership reduces the exam fee and gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with tailored schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and departments across Serbia. Contact us for a group quote for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP is a closed-book exam using multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions. It is scenario-based, so it tests how you apply project management principles rather than pure recall.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 180 questions and runs for 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. It is delivered online via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

Which edition is the PMP exam based on?

The current PMP exam is aligned to PMI's PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition. It covers project fundamentals, predictive methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback. Aim for broad mastery across all performance domains rather than a target number.

How many attempts do I get and can I retake the exam?

You get up to three attempts within a one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts; confirm current amounts on pmi.org before you rebook.

    Course Content

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers the current exam content: project management fundamentals and core concepts, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication.

Does the PMP course cover agile?

Yes. Around half of the exam reflects agile and hybrid approaches, so the training covers Scrum, Kanban, lean practices and how to blend agile with predictive delivery, alongside traditional plan-based methods.

    What learning resources are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, chapter-wise quizzes and downloadable templates, all mapped to the current PMP Examination Content Outline.

Do I need prior experience to take the training?

Anyone can attend the training to earn the 35 contact hours. To sit the PMP exam, PMI requires project leadership experience: 36 months with a four-year degree, or 60 months with a secondary diploma.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate confirming the 35 contact hours of project management education, which count toward your PMP eligibility.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the PMP course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual instructor-led training, classroom training, self-paced e-learning and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

How soon can I start the PMP training?

New live virtual batches run regularly, and self-paced learning starts immediately after enrolment. See upcoming schedules or speak with a learning advisor to pick the next batch that suits you.

Can I reschedule or transfer to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange a change.
