    What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

    The PMI-ACP exam is closed book and multiple choice, based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline of January 2018. It is delivered online via Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre, with questions distributed across seven agile domains.

    How many questions are on the PMI-ACP exam?

    The exam has 120 questions and an allotted time of three hours. The questions are spread across the seven agile domains of the Examination Content Outline, from Agile Principles and Mindset through to Continuous Improvement.

    What are the prerequisites for the PMI-ACP exam?

    PMI requires a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience in the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile project experience in the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders already meet the general experience requirement.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all seven domains.

    What if I do not pass the exam first time?
