    Do I need Agile Scrum Foundation before ASM?

    What is the format of the ASM exam?

    The Agile Scrum Master exam is closed book and uses multiple-choice, single-answer questions based on the EXIN examination specification. It is delivered through EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The ASM exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. It is taken as a closed-book examination.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    The passing score is 65 percent, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Focus on broad mastery across all five EXIN topic areas.

    How is the ASM exam delivered?

    You can take the exam online with EXIN proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. The exam is available through accredited training providers.

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Foundation-level Scrum knowledge helps, but the training builds the role-specific skills you need step by step. Beginners with some exposure to agile teams can follow comfortably with trainer support.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the EXIN format, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness before the real exam.

    What materials and language are provided?

    You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams and reference materials, delivered in English. Sessions are led by experienced agile trainers.
