    The path to online CSM certification in Serbia is straightforward. Complete the 2-day Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®)-led course, take the Scrum Alliance assessment online, and activate your credential through your Scrum Alliance account. Most learners complete the process within a few days of finishing the course.

    What is the format of the CSM exam?

    The CSM exam is an open-book, online, multiple-choice test taken through the Scrum Alliance member portal after you complete an approved course. It is aligned to the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives and the current Scrum Guide (November 2020 edition).

    How many questions are on the CSM exam and how long is it?

    The CSM exam has 50 multiple-choice questions and a 60-minute (one hour) time limit. It is taken online without a proctor, and you can refer to materials during the exam because it is open book.

    What is the passing score for the CSM exam?

    The passing score is 74 per cent, which means answering at least 37 of the 50 questions correctly. The training and mock questions are designed to help you reach that mark comfortably.

    What if I do not pass the CSM exam the first time?

    Candidates typically have three attempts to pass within 90 days of completing the course. Our instructor-led sessions and practice questions are built to help you pass on the first attempt, and support is available if you need another try.

    How do I access and take the CSM exam?

    Completing an approved CSM course unlocks the exam in your Scrum Alliance member account. You then take the 50-question online exam within 90 days of course completion, at a time that suits you.

    What topics are covered in the CSM training?

    The training covers the six Scrum Alliance CSM topic areas: Scrum theory and principles, the five Scrum values, the Scrum team, Scrum events, Scrum artefacts, and the Scrum Master role, all aligned to the current Scrum Guide.

    Do I need prior experience to take the CSM course?

    No. There are no formal education or work experience prerequisites. The CSM suits those new to Scrum as well as professionals who want to formalise existing knowledge, so beginners are welcome.

    How long is the CSM course?

    The instructor-led CSM course runs for 16 hours, delivered as two full days or four half-days depending on the schedule. This exceeds the Scrum Alliance minimum contact-hours requirement for CSM courses.

    Are practice questions and materials included?

    Yes. You receive Scrum Alliance aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies, practice questions and knowledge checks that mirror the exam style to help you prepare with confidence.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest Scrum Guide?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current Scrum Guide (November 2020 edition) and the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives, so you learn the Product Goal, Sprint Goal and Definition of Done as current commitments.
