    What is the format of the PMP exam?

    The PMP exam is closed book and uses several question types, including multiple choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank. It is delivered online with Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test center.

    How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level performance feedback.

    What edition is the PMP exam based on?
