    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation exam is a closed-book, single-answer multiple-choice examination with 40 questions. It can be taken online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited testing location, and is often arranged through your training provider.

    What is the passing score for the ASF exam?

    The passing score is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Our mock exams and topic-wise practice help you build toward that mark with confidence.

    How long is the EXIN ASF exam?

    You have 60 minutes to complete the 40-question exam. The closed-book format tests knowledge and comprehension of the agile way of working and the Scrum framework at a foundational level.

    What topics does the EXIN ASF exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas from the EXIN Examination Specification: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Practices (30%), Scrum Planning and Estimation (20%), Monitoring Scrum Projects (15%) and Advanced Scrum Concepts (15%).

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    What will I learn in the Agile Scrum Foundation course?

    You will learn the agile mindset, the full Scrum framework of roles, events and artefacts, agile planning and estimation, project monitoring with burndown and burnup charts, and advanced concepts such as scaling and continuous improvement.

    Can a complete beginner take this course?

    Yes. The course assumes no prior agile or Scrum knowledge, so it is ideal for beginners. Trainer-led explanations, examples and practice activities build your understanding step by step.

    How long is the training programme?

    The instructor-led programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered as two full days or four half-days, depending on the schedule. This gives you time to cover all five topic areas and prepare for the exam.

    Are practice questions and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes EXIN-aligned mock questions and topic-wise practice so you can test your understanding, identify weak areas and build readiness for the 40-question exam.

    Is the courseware aligned with the latest EXIN specification?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification and is grounded in the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto, so you study the concepts the exam actually tests.

    What is the next step after Agile Scrum Foundation?

    The recommended next step is EXIN Agile Scrum Master (ASM), the intermediate level in the EXIN Agile Scrum scheme. ASF provides the foundational knowledge that prepares you for it.
