Why Namibia Needs Hybrid Project Leaders Now

    Governance Meets Agile Delivery

Namibian banks and public bodies want the control of PRINCE2 with the speed of agile, yet few professionals can operate confidently across both layers at once.

PRINCE2 Agile bridges governance and delivery

    Digital Banking Transformation

The National Payment System Vision 2026-2030 and fintech growth are pushing banks to modernise fast, creating demand for leaders who can govern iterative delivery.

PRINCE2 Agile builds governed delivery skills

    Energy and Green Hydrogen Programmes

Orange Basin oil, gas and green hydrogen megaprojects demand portfolio-grade risk control alongside adaptive delivery, a blend the credential is built to support.

PRINCE2 Agile builds tailoring and risk skills

    Scarce Certified Hybrid Talent

Namibia's project pool is deep in traditional managers but thin in professionals certified to run agile within PRINCE2 governance, making holders rare and valued.

PRINCE2 Agile makes certified leaders stand out

    Mining Systems Modernisation

Mining houses are upgrading data, ERP and operational platforms while keeping strict governance, needing project leaders who can flex scope without losing control.

    PRINCE2 Agile supports controlled change

    Delivering Value Under Budget Pressure

Cost discipline across sectors pushes organisations to prioritise the highest-value work, and MoSCoW and value-driven delivery are core PRINCE2 Agile techniques.

    General

Is the PRINCE2 Agile certification worth it in Namibia?

Yes. PRINCE2 Agile proves you can keep projects governed while teams deliver iteratively, a blend Namibian banks, telecoms, mining houses and public bodies increasingly need. Project roles in Namibia pay well above the national average, and certified hybrid talent remains scarce, so the credential strengthens both credibility and earning potential.

What is PRINCE2 Agile and who is it for?

PRINCE2 Agile combines the PRINCE2 project governance framework with agile delivery methods such as Scrum and Kanban. It suits project managers, Scrum Masters, team leads and PRINCE2 holders who work in environments that use both structured governance and agile delivery.

Who governs and awards the PRINCE2 Agile certification?

PRINCE2 Agile is governed by AXELOS and awarded by PeopleCert, which owns and delivers the qualification worldwide. It is recognised in over 200 countries and especially valued in Commonwealth markets like Namibia where PRINCE2 is the established governance standard.

How is PRINCE2 Agile different from standard PRINCE2?

Standard PRINCE2 is a structured, predictive method. PRINCE2 Agile extends it with agile delivery guidance, so the PRINCE2 layer governs the project while teams deliver using Scrum, Kanban or Lean Startup. It adds the five targets for agile, the PRINCE2 Agile hexagon and MoSCoW prioritisation.

How long is the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification valid?

PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking the Practitioner exam, completing CPD through a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher-level qualification. Confirm current renewal options at peoplecert.org.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 Agile training cost in Namibia?

Training fees in Namibia are available on request and vary by format and schedule, so contact us for a current quote in local terms. The two PeopleCert examination fees are billed separately by PeopleCert and are not part of the training fee. Request a quote to see what is included.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes accredited, PeopleCert-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, chapter-wise quizzes and learner support for both levels. Exam vouchers may be bundled depending on the package. Speak with a learning advisor to confirm inclusions.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam fees are set and billed by PeopleCert and vary by region and channel, so they are usually quoted separately from training. Some packages bundle the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers. Ask us for a quote to confirm what your enrolment covers.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, IT and change teams. It is ideal for banks, telecoms, mining houses and public bodies training several people. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What does the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam involve?

The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions to answer in 60 minutes, closed book, with a 60% pass mark (24 out of 40 correct). It tests knowledge and comprehension of how PRINCE2 governance blends with agile delivery.

What does the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam involve?

The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions over 150 minutes and is open book, with the PRINCE2 Agile publication permitted. The pass mark is 60% (30 out of 50 correct). It tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 Agile in realistic project scenarios.

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

There are two separate PeopleCert exams: the Foundation exam (40 questions, 60 minutes, closed book) and the Practitioner exam (50 questions, 150 minutes, open book). You must pass both to hold both credentials.

What are the prerequisites for the PRINCE2 Agile exams?

PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. For PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner you need PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent. The combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can resit the exam through PeopleCert; resit fees and policies apply per level, so confirm current terms at peoplecert.org. Our training includes practice questions and mock exams for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly before you sit.

How are the exams delivered in Namibia?

Both exams are delivered through PeopleCert, either via OnVUE online proctoring available 24/7 or at authorised test centres. Online proctoring lets you sit the exams from home or office anywhere in Namibia.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PRINCE2 Agile training?

The programme covers the agile mindset, blending agile with PRINCE2, stakeholder engagement, agile leadership, risk and change control, progress tracking, agile roles, scalable agility and value-driven thinking at Foundation, then tailoring and application across nine Practitioner topics.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no prerequisites, so beginners can start here. The training builds from the agile mindset and PRINCE2 basics up to Practitioner-level tailoring, with worked examples and practice throughout to support learners new to hybrid delivery.

Which agile frameworks does the course cover?

PRINCE2 Agile covers Scrum as the primary framework, along with Kanban, Lean Startup and Scrumban, plus awareness of scaling approaches. You learn how each fits within PRINCE2 governance rather than in isolation.

Is the courseware aligned with the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is built on the current PRINCE2 Agile publication and the official PeopleCert Foundation and Practitioner syllabus, so you prepare against exactly what the exams assess.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes for both levels, including open-book technique practice for the Practitioner exam, to help you identify weak areas and build readiness.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website and pick an upcoming live virtual, classroom or corporate batch. Once enrolled, you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor to find the next suitable batch.

    What training formats are available?

Do I need any experience to enrol?

No experience is required to enrol or to sit the Foundation exam. For the Practitioner exam you need PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent, which the combined pathway covers in sequence.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch on selected plans. Contact our support team and we will arrange it for you.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
