    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with 40 questions. You have 90 minutes to complete it, and the pass mark is 65 percent, which is 26 correct answers out of 40.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. It is a single-answer, closed-book format that tests applied Scrum Master knowledge rather than pure recall.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    The passing score is 65 percent, meaning you need 26 of the 40 questions correct. Questions are spread across the five EXIN topic areas, so aim for broad mastery rather than focusing on a single area.

    How is the EXIN ASM exam delivered?

    You can take the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Your training provider can help you register and schedule the exam at a time that suits you.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. The training starts from core Scrum concepts and builds up to the Scrum Master role, so newcomers can follow it. Some foundation-level Scrum knowledge, such as the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation, helps but is not mandatory.

    Are practice questions and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, topic-wise quizzes and full-length mock exams aligned to the 40-question EXIN format. These help you identify weak areas and build readiness for the closed-book exam.

    Is the courseware aligned with the EXIN syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification and the Scrum Guide, covering all five topic areas at the depth the exam expects.

    Will I receive a certificate of completion?
