The Skills You Will MasterScrum Facilitation and Servant Leadership

The CSM training program builds practical Scrum skills across all six areas of the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives. By the end, you can facilitate Scrum events, coach a team and support an organisation's agile adoption with confidence.

    Scrum Theory and Empiricism

You will learn the foundations covered in the CSM course: the three pillars of transparency, inspection and adaptation, empirical process control, and how Scrum thrives in complex work. This grounds every Scrum practice in why it works, not just how.

The Five Scrum Values in Practice

Apply commitment, focus, openness, respect and courage to build trust and psychological safety, and understand how the Scrum Master models these values to make teams effective.

    Roles Across the Scrum Team

Understand the accountabilities of the Scrum Master, Product Owner and Developers, and how self-management and cross-functionality make a small, cohesive team deliver value.

    Facilitating the Five Scrum Events

Run Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Retrospective within their timeboxes, and protect the Sprint so the team stays focused on the Sprint Goal.

    Managing Scrum Artefacts

Work with the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Increment, and apply the three commitments (Product Goal, Sprint Goal and Definition of Done) to keep work transparent and outcome-focused.

    Servant Leadership and Coaching

Serve the team, Product Owner and organisation as a servant leader, using facilitation and coaching techniques to remove impediments and drive continuous improvement.
