Does the CSPO require an exam?

No. The CSPO has no examination. The certification is awarded once you complete an approved CSPO course delivered by a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer, so you are certified straight from the course.

How do I get CSPO certified in Mexico City?

Attend the approved two-day CSPO course delivered by a Certified Scrum Trainer, in classroom or live virtual format. After the course you accept the Scrum Alliance licence agreement and code of ethics, and the credential is activated in your Scrum Alliance account.

Who delivers the CSPO course?

What comes after the CSPO in the Product Owner track?

You will learn Scrum theory for product owners, the Product Owner role and accountability, product vision and the Product Goal, Product Backlog management, stakeholder collaboration and value, and release planning and forecasting, all aligned to the CSPO Learning Objectives.

How is the CSPO course structured?

The CSPO is typically a two-day course delivered in classroom or live virtual format by a Certified Scrum Trainer. It uses interactive exercises, real product scenarios and discussion so you can apply the concepts to your own work.

Will I learn how to write user stories and manage a backlog?

Yes. The course covers writing effective user stories with INVEST and acceptance criteria, ordering and refining the Product Backlog, and applying prioritisation techniques such as MoSCoW and the Kano model to maximise value.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest Scrum guidance?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current Scrum Alliance CSPO Learning Objectives and the Scrum Guide, including the Product Goal as the Product Backlog commitment introduced in the 2020 edition.
