What Is Six Sigma Awareness Training in Maldives?UntitledA Practical Introduction to Process Excellence
Six Sigma Awareness Training in Maldives is a one-day, non-certification programme that introduces the Six Sigma methodology, the DMAIC improvement roadmap and the core quality concepts that data-driven organisations rely on. It gives employees, managers and leaders a shared vocabulary for reducing variation and eliminating defects, without needing to become practising Green Belts or Black Belts. Six Sigma is a disciplined, statistical approach to process improvement developed at Motorola in the 1980s and made globally famous by GE in the 1990s. The methodology targets fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities (DPMO) and uses the DMAIC roadmap, Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control, to fix existing processes with facts rather than opinion. As Maldivian resorts, banks, fisheries exporters and public utilities compete on service consistency and cost, awareness of Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma helps every team member contribute to improvement work. The training is delivered by Invensis Learning, and participants receive a course completion record on finishing the programme.
