Master Visual Workflow with Practical Kanban SkillsUntitledA Skill for Factories and Agile Teams

Kanban Training in Mauritius is a one-day, non-certification skills course that teaches you to manage workflow using Kanban, a visual, pull-based system that authorises work only when real downstream demand appears. The word Kanban means signboard or visual signal in Japanese, and the method began in the Toyota Production System, developed by Taiichi Ohno. You learn both sides of the method: the manufacturing pull system of kanban cards, supermarkets and just-in-time replenishment, and the Agile knowledge-work approach of Kanban boards, work-in-progress limits and flow metrics, formalised for knowledge work by David J. Anderson. The course suits operations, supply chain, IT and Agile professionals across the island. Through hands-on exercises you learn to eliminate overproduction, make work visible and improve flow, then take those skills straight back to your workplace. Start building a practical, in-demand workflow capability with Invensis Learning.

What You Gain from Learning KanbanFor Individuals and Teams

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

Kanban training helps you turn a busy, unpredictable workflow into a smooth, visible flow. You learn to control how work moves through a process, cut waste and deliver more reliably, whether you work on a factory floor, in a supply chain, or on a software delivery team. The skills apply immediately, from sizing kanban quantities to setting WIP limits and reading a cumulative flow diagram.

If you want a hands-on capability that improves delivery in any workplace, Kanban is one of the most practical methods you can learn. You leave able to design and run a Kanban system, not just describe one.

    • Cut lead times by making work flow instead of piling up between steps
    • Limit work in progress to finish tasks faster and reduce multitasking waste
    • Design manufacturing pull systems that eliminate overproduction
    • Build Kanban boards that make every stage of work visible to the team
    • Use flow metrics to improve delivery from data, not guesswork
    • Apply Scrumban to blend Kanban with your Agile ways of working
    • Gain a practical, in-demand workflow skill valued across sectors in Mauritius
    • Apply what you learn to your own real workflow from day one
    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Kanban group training helps organisations build a shared workflow language across operations, supply chain and technology teams. Sessions can be delivered for a single team or across departments, using your own processes in the exercises. For organisations under pressure to do more with constrained capacity, Kanban offers a practical, low-risk way to improve flow.

If your teams struggle with hidden bottlenecks, overproduction or unpredictable delivery, corporate Kanban training gives them a common, evidence-based method to visualise work, limit overload and deliver value faster.

    • Standardise pull-based workflow across teams and sites
    • Reduce inventory and overproduction in manufacturing operations
    • Improve delivery predictability in IT, BPO and service teams
    • Make bottlenecks visible so leaders can act early
    • Build a shared, data-driven approach to continuous improvement
    • Upskill whole teams with training tailored to your own workflows
    • Flexible onsite and live virtual delivery for groups
    • Stronger in-house Lean and Agile capability

How Kanban Skills Open Doors Across MauritiusIn-Demand Roles and Sectors

The Workflow Pressures Driving Kanban Demand in Mauritius

    High Value-Added Manufacturing Shift

Mauritian manufacturers are moving from volume to high value-added production, which demands leaner pull systems, less overproduction and tighter inventory control, exactly what Kanban delivers.

Kanban builds pull production and inventory skills

Serving a Regional African Supply Chain

As factories build supply chains to serve continental Africa, replenishment must track real demand. Kanban pull loops keep stock lean while still meeting export deadlines.

    Kanban builds just-in-time replenishment skills

    Predictable IT and BPO Delivery

ICT and BPO firms face rising client expectations for faster, predictable delivery. Kanban boards, WIP limits and flow metrics make delivery times visible and reliable.

Kanban builds flow and WIP-limit skills

    Doing More with Constrained Capacity

With growth moderating and talent scarce, teams must deliver more without adding headcount. Limiting work in progress cuts multitasking waste and speeds up completion.

    Kanban builds capacity-management skills

    Hidden Bottlenecks and Poor Visibility

Many operations run without a shared view of how work flows, so bottlenecks stay hidden until a deadline slips. A Kanban board makes every stage visible and surfaces blockers early.

    Kanban builds workflow-visibility skills

Skills Gap in Lean and Agile Practice

Employers value people who can apply Lean and Agile flow methods, but few staff have hands-on Kanban system-design skills, making trained professionals genuinely stand out.
