    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The PgMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour allotted time. It is closed book and uses multiple-choice formats, based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

    The exam spans five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%).

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It is mandatory in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

    What if I do not pass the PgMP exam on the first attempt?

    PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our training and mock exams are built to prepare you thoroughly, so you sit the exam with confidence.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed numeric pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with performance reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement per domain, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

    Do I need prior experience to take PgMP training?

    Anyone can enrol in the training. To sit the PgMP exam, PMI requires a set combination of a degree, project management experience or an active PMP, and substantial programme management experience within the last 15 years, plus the panel review.

    The training covers the five PgMP domains: Strategic Program Management, Program Life Cycle Management, Benefits Management, Stakeholder Engagement and Governance, plus application, panel-review and exam strategy, all aligned to the Fourth Edition standard.
