    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The exam is closed book with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification and can be taken via EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    What is the passing score for the ASF exam?

    The pass mark is 65 per cent, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly.

    Are there any prerequisites for the ASF exam?

    No. Agile Scrum Foundation has no formal prerequisites. It is open to everyone regardless of education, experience or prior agile knowledge, which makes it ideal for complete beginners.

    What topics does the ASF exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas per the EXIN specification: Agile Way of Thinking (about 20 per cent), Scrum Practices (about 30 per cent), Scrum Planning and Estimation (about 20 per cent), Monitoring Scrum Projects (about 15 per cent) and Advanced Scrum Concepts (about 15 per cent).

    What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

    What will I learn in the Agile Scrum Foundation course?

    You will learn the agile mindset and Agile Manifesto, the full Scrum framework of roles, events and artefacts, agile planning and estimation, how to monitor Scrum projects, and advanced Scrum concepts such as scaling and continuous improvement.

    How long is the training and how is it delivered?

    The programme runs for 16 hours, typically over two full days or four half-days. It is delivered through live virtual instructor-led sessions, classroom training, or customised corporate group formats.

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification and to the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto that underpin the exam.
