The Real Payoff of Learning RCAFor Professionals and Organisations in Libya

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

RCA training helps professionals build a practical, structured approach to problem-solving that they can use the moment they return to work. The programme suits quality engineers, supervisors, maintenance and reliability staff, HSE officers and operations managers who deal with defects, failures and incidents. Whether you work on an oilfield, in a manufacturing plant, on a reconstruction project or in a service function, you learn to define problems precisely, gather evidence, and drill to the true root cause before acting.

By the end of the day you can run a 5 Whys or Fishbone investigation, complete an 8D report, and develop corrective actions that hold. These are the skills Libyan employers increasingly look for as they push to reduce waste, protect uptime and raise quality across their operations.

    • Investigate problems methodically instead of guessing at causes

Market Pressures Driving Demand for RCA Skills in Libya

    Protecting Oilfield Uptime

As Libya pushes toward 1.6 million bpd, unplanned equipment failures and shutdowns cost real barrels. Operators need structured RCA to find why assets fail and keep production flowing.

RCA builds failure investigation and reliability skills

    Quality on Reconstruction Projects

Rebuilding Derna, Benghazi and national infrastructure demands consistent quality. RCA helps contractors investigate defects and non-conformances before they turn into costly rework.

RCA builds corrective action and defect prevention skills

    Ageing Plant and Infrastructure

A decade of underinvestment has left power, water and industrial assets fragile. Reliability-focused RCA identifies the underlying causes of breakdowns rather than repeating temporary repairs.

RCA builds reliability and maintenance skills

    Safety and Incident Investigation

Oil, gas and construction carry high safety risk. Structured RCA moves incident investigation beyond blaming operators to the system and process causes that let incidents happen.

RCA builds structured HSE investigation skills

    Meeting ISO 9001 Corrective Action

Clients and standards expect documented root cause analysis under ISO 9001:2015 Clause 10.2. Many Libyan suppliers lack the tool-based rigour that a compliant corrective action process needs.

RCA builds ISO 9001 Clause 10.2 capability

    Scarce Problem-Solving Talent

Libya has capable technical staff but few people trained in formal RCA methods. Professionals who can facilitate a Fishbone or 8D investigation are rare and highly valued.

RCA makes trained problem-solvers stand out

Sources: World Bank, NOC, Libya Energy and Economic Summit 2026; MaxisHR and Bayt (Libya) 2026.

RCA is more than a workshop. It is the skill that keeps oil flowing, plants running and reconstruction on track. Join the professionals in Libya who solve problems at the root and prevent them from returning. Start your journey today.

No. This is a non-certification skills course, so there is no examination and no separate certification fee. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning at the end of the programme.

    Assessment

Is there an exam at the end of the course?

No. RCA training is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on tool exercises, case study investigations and team discussion during the one-day programme.

What do I receive after completing the training?

You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. The training builds a practical RCA method and tool set that you can apply immediately to problem investigation and corrective action in any industry.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply each RCA tool through practical exercises, such as a 5 Whys investigation, a Fishbone workshop and a full 8D report, so you leave able to use the methods, not just describe them.

Will this help us meet ISO 9001 corrective action requirements?

Yes. The course grounds corrective action in ISO 9001:2015 Clause 10.2 and the CAPA approach used in regulated industries, so your team can investigate non-conformances and document corrective actions with the rigour standards and clients expect.

    Is this a recognised qualification?

It is a professional skills programme rather than an accredited qualification, and there is no governing body or exam. The value lies in the practical RCA capability you gain, which employers across Libya's key sectors actively seek.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the RCA training?

You will learn to define problems precisely, collect evidence, and apply the 5 Whys, Fishbone diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA and the 8D method to identify root causes. You will also learn to develop and verify corrective actions that prevent recurrence.

What is the difference between the 5 Whys, Fishbone and 8D?

The 5 Whys suits simple, single-cause problems; the Fishbone diagram organises many possible causes for complex issues; and 8D is a structured, team-based method for containment, root cause and permanent corrective action. The course teaches when to use each one.

Are there hands-on exercises and case studies?

Yes. The programme is built around practical exercises and realistic case studies, including Is/Is Not problem definition, a 5 Whys investigation, a Fishbone workshop and an 8D report, so you practise every tool during the day.

Can the course use examples from my industry?

Yes, especially in corporate group training. We can align examples and exercises to oil and gas, power, manufacturing, water or reconstruction contexts, and even use your organisation's own real problems for immediate value.

    What materials are provided?

You receive structured courseware, tool templates, worked examples and case study materials that support the exercises and serve as a practical reference back at work.
