Market Forces Driving Business Analysis Demand in Libya

    Scarcity of Certified Analysts

Libya's talent pool is thin in formally qualified business analysts. An internationally recognised, BCS quality-assured credential makes certified professionals rare and highly sought after.

    Fintech and Product Growth

Libya's emerging fintech and telecom digital services create constant new product work, demanding analysts who can define solutions and justify them with sound cost-benefit and ROI analysis.

Business Analysis Skills You Will BuildApplied Skills for Real BA Projects

This combined programme develops both the Foundation knowledge base and the Practitioner ability to apply it. Plan and run interviews, workshops, observation and document analysis to understand current operations, then select the right investigation technique for each context.

    Elicit and Prioritise Requirements

Gather business, functional and non-functional requirements, then categorise and prioritise them with MoSCoW to manage scope and stakeholder trade-offs.

    Model Processes and Requirements

Build BPMN and swimlane process models, use case diagrams and entity-relationship data models to represent as-is and to-be operations clearly.

    Analyse Strategy and Stakeholders

Apply PESTLE, SWOT and gap analysis, and use power/interest grids and RACI to engage stakeholders and manage conflict and resistance.

    Build a Compelling Business Case

Structure cost-benefit analysis and investment appraisal with NPV, ROI and payback, then present a clear, justified recommendation to decision-makers.

    Apply Techniques to Real Scenarios

Use the Practitioner scenario method to select and justify BA techniques in realistic project situations, from options analysis to solution definition.

Both are developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

It is a combined, two-level EXIN BCS credential. The Foundation level validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, and the Practitioner level proves you can apply them in realistic project scenarios. Both are developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

Yes. Certified business analysts are in demand across Libya's banking, oil and gas, telecom and public sectors as they digitise operations. Analyst roles average around LYD 4,000 a month and rise well beyond LYD 8,000 at senior level, and the credential is recognised internationally.

It suits aspiring analysts, IT professionals and testers moving into a BA role, project managers adding analysis skills, and practising analysts who want to formalise their knowledge. No formal prerequisites are required for the Foundation level.

The credentials are awarded by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered body for IT, giving the certification strong recognition across Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certificates are for lifetime. Neither expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you have passed each exam.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a combined, two-level EXIN BCS credential. The Foundation level validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, and the Practitioner level proves you can apply them in realistic project scenarios. Both are developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

Is the BA certification worth it for professionals in Libya?

Yes. Certified business analysts are in demand across Libya's banking, oil and gas, telecom and public sectors as they digitise operations. Analyst roles average around LYD 4,000 a month and rise well beyond LYD 8,000 at senior level, and the credential is recognised internationally.

    Who should take this course?

It suits aspiring analysts, IT professionals and testers moving into a BA role, project managers adding analysis skills, and practising analysts who want to formalise their knowledge. No formal prerequisites are required for the Foundation level.

Who awards the certification and is it recognised globally?

The credentials are awarded by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered body for IT, giving the certification strong recognition across Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

How long is the certification valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certificates are for lifetime. Neither expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you have passed each exam.

    Pricing

How much does the BA training cost in Libya?

Fees vary by delivery format and whether exam vouchers are bundled. The combined training with dual EXIN exams is available on request in local pricing. Contact a learning advisor for a current quote and any group offers.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes syllabus-aligned courseware, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner mock questions, and learner support. Confirm whether the EXIN exam vouchers are bundled when you request your quote.

Are the EXIN exam fees included in the training price?

EXIN exam voucher pricing varies by region and purchasing channel, so it may be quoted separately or bundled with training. Ask your advisor to confirm what is included for your enrolment. Request a quote to see the full package.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for IT, change and PMO teams. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate EXIN exams: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials, and they are usually arranged through the accredited training package.

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 40 closed-book, single-answer multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 65 per cent, which is 26 out of 40 correct.

How does the Practitioner exam differ?

The Practitioner exam also has 40 questions in 60 minutes with a 65 per cent pass mark, but the questions are scenario-based. Each presents a realistic project situation and tests your ability to apply and analyse BA techniques, not just recall concepts.

Where can I sit the EXIN BCS exams?

You can sit both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system or at an accredited testing location. They are typically scheduled through your accredited training provider as part of the combined package.

What are the prerequisites for each level?

The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite before you take the Practitioner exam, since Practitioner builds on Foundation knowledge.

    Course Content

What topics does the training cover?

The Foundation covers 14 topic areas including investigation techniques, requirements engineering, business process modelling, stakeholder management, strategy analysis and business cases. The Practitioner covers seven applied areas that put these techniques into project scenarios.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation level assumes no prior business analysis knowledge, so beginners and career changers can start here. The programme then builds you up to applied Practitioner competence in the same 32-hour course.

What standard is the course aligned to?

Both levels are aligned to the EXIN BCS examination specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, quality-assured by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Your courseware follows the current published specifications.

Are practice questions and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and mock exams, plus industry case studies, to help you identify weak areas and build readiness for both exams.

How is the training delivered and how long is it?

The combined programme runs for 32 hours, delivered as live virtual instructor-led sessions or corporate group training. The schedule can span four intensive days or more days at fewer hours each, depending on the format you choose.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the BA course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing a batch.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual instructor-led training and customised corporate group training. Online (live virtual) delivery suits working professionals across Libya, while corporate sessions can be run onsite or virtually for teams.

    How soon can I start?

New batches run regularly across the year. See upcoming schedules on the website or ask an advisor about the next available live virtual cohort that fits your timing.

Can I reschedule my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch on selected plans. Contact support to arrange a change to your booking.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include added flexibility. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
