What topics does the Azure DevOps course cover?

The course spans six modules: DevOps and the Azure ecosystem, Azure Repos with CI in Azure Pipelines, continuous delivery, Azure Boards and infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS and Azure Monitor, and DevSecOps with Azure Test Plans.

How long is the training?

The programme runs for one day (eight hours), covering all six modules with concept explanations and hands-on Azure exercises. An extended format delivering the same eight hours across two half-days is also available.

Which Azure DevOps tools will I use?

You work with the five Azure DevOps services, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts and Azure Test Plans, plus ARM and Bicep, Azure Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Is the training hands-on?

Yes. Hands-on Azure exercises run throughout, including creating a repository with branch policies, writing a CI pipeline, deploying with Bicep, and setting up an Azure Monitor alert and an Application Insights dashboard.

Can beginners take this course?

Yes. There are no formal prerequisites. The course introduces each Azure DevOps service from the ground up, so newcomers to Azure can follow along while more experienced engineers deepen their automation skills.
