    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The PRINCE2 Foundation exam is closed book with 60 single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is based on the PRINCE2 7 Foundation syllabus and tests your knowledge and understanding of the method at Foundation level.

    How long is the exam and what is the passing score?

    You have 60 minutes (1 hour) to complete the exam, and the pass mark is 60 percent, which is 36 correct answers out of 60. Because it is closed book, broad familiarity with the whole syllabus is the best preparation.

    Where can I sit the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    You can take the exam online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring system, which is available 24/7, or at a PeopleCert authorised test centre. The exam is often arranged through an accredited training organisation as part of a training and exam package.

    How long is the certification valid and how do I renew it?

    PRINCE2 Foundation is valid for three years. To keep it active, you renew every three years by earning 60 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points within the cycle. Confirm current renewal options at peoplecert.org.

    What happens if I do not pass on the first attempt?
