    After PMI-CP

Fluent in governing contracts, stakeholders and scope on complex projects

    You earn your PMI-CP

    Before

Construction expertise proven only by tenure, not a recognised credential

    Now you have

    Before

Stuck at site level with no formal project management mandate

    Now you have

A clear route into construction project manager and director roles

    Before

Strong on site delivery, but light on contracts and governance

    Now you have

The skills employers need: contracts, claims, stakeholders and governance

    Before

Recognition limited when you change employer or work with foreign clients

    Now you have

A globally recognised credential that travels across sectors and borders

Is the PMI-CP worth it for construction professionals in Cambodia?

Yes. With Cambodia's construction sector projected to grow 6.6% in 2026 and billions committed to transport and energy projects, employers increasingly seek credentialed construction leaders. The PMI-CP helps you access construction project manager and director roles that command stronger pay.

Yes. As a PMI credential, the PMI-CP carries global recognition through PMI's network in over 200 countries. It is valued by Cambodian developers, contractors and consultancies, and by foreign and donor-funded clients who expect PMI-aligned delivery practice.

How long is the PMI-CP certification valid?

The PMI-CP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year cycle, with at least 8 PDUs in each area, reported through PMI's continuing certification requirements system.

Is the PMI-CP exam fee included in the training price?

    Exam

What happens if I do not pass the PMI-CP exam first time?

You are allowed up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our practice questions, mock exams and trainer guidance are designed to build your readiness across all four domains before you sit the exam.

How many questions are on the PMI-CP exam and how long is it?

The PMI-CP exam has 120 questions and a time allowance of 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

What are the PMI-CP exam domains and their weights?

The exam covers four domains from the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%).

What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback such as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

Where can I take the PMI-CP exam in Cambodia?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctored system or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility window.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMI-CP training?

You will learn to evaluate and administer construction contracts, manage claims and variations, engage stakeholders and authorities, define and control scope, and set up project governance and reporting, all aligned to the four PMI-CP domains.

Do I need to complete the four mandatory modules for PMI-CP?

Yes. All candidates must complete four self-paced modules before applying: Project Communications, Interface Management, Scope and Change Order Management, and Contract and Risk Management. Each awards 14 PDUs, for 56 PDUs in total, and we guide you through them.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-CP?

Beyond the four mandatory modules, you meet one of three sets: a secondary diploma with 60 months of construction experience, a bachelor's degree with 36 months, or a GAC-accredited degree with 24 months. All require 35 contact hours of project management education.

Is the courseware aligned to the current PMI-CP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the official PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and the current edition of the PMBOK Guide, so you prepare against the domains and tasks PMI actually tests.

Are practice questions and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and scenario exercises mapped to the 120-question, closed-book format, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the PMI-CP course in Cambodia?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing a batch.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training, and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and project commitments.

Do I need a PMP before taking the PMI-CP?

No. The PMP is not a prerequisite for the PMI-CP. You can pursue the PMI-CP directly based on your construction experience and education, though the two credentials are complementary for construction project managers.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
