    What happens if I do not pass the ASM exam first time?

    You can resit the EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam; resit policies and fees are set by EXIN and your provider. Our training, practice questions and mock exams are designed to prepare you thoroughly for a first-time pass.

    What is the format of the EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam?

    It is a closed-book, multiple-choice exam with single-answer questions, based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification, aligned to the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. You need 65%, or 26 of 40 correct, to pass.

    How is the ASM exam delivered?

    The exam is delivered online with EXIN proctoring or at EXIN accredited testing locations, and can be booked through accredited training providers.

    What topics does the exam cover?

    Five areas: Agile Way of Thinking, the Scrum Master Role, Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control, Complex Projects, and Adopting Agile.

    Can a beginner take the Agile Scrum Master course?

    Yes. While EXIN recommends Foundation-level knowledge, our training covers the agile and Scrum basics you need, so motivated beginners and those new to facilitation can follow comfortably with trainer support.

    What will I learn in the ASM training?

    You learn to apply the agile mindset, master the Scrum Master role, estimate and plan delivery, manage the backlog and Definition of Done, handle complex and scaled projects, and lead agile adoption and coaching.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, topic-wise quizzes and full mock exams mapped to the EXIN examination specification to build your exam readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest EXIN specification?

    Yes. The courseware follows the current EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification and the latest Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto principles.
