    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The exam is closed book with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is delivered online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited test location, and is arranged through an EXIN Accredited Training Provider or directly via EXIN.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation exam has 40 questions and a duration of 60 minutes (one hour). It is a closed-book, single-answer multiple-choice exam.

    What is the passing score for the ASF exam?

    The pass mark is 65 per cent, which means you must answer at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Our mock exams are mapped to this standard to help you prepare with confidence.

    What topics does the exam cover?

    The exam covers five EXIN topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Practices (30%), Scrum Planning and Estimation (20%), Monitoring Scrum Projects (15%) and Advanced Scrum Concepts (15%).

    What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

    If you do not pass first time, you can re-sit the EXIN exam; a re-examination fee applies, which you can confirm with EXIN. Our mock exams, practice questions and trainer guidance are designed to help you clear the exam on your first attempt.

    Course Content

    What will I learn in the Agile Scrum Foundation course?

    You will learn the agile mindset and Agile Manifesto, the Scrum framework of roles, events and artefacts, agile planning and estimation, how to monitor Scrum projects with burndown and velocity, and advanced concepts such as scaling and agile adoption.

    Do I need prior agile or Scrum experience to enrol?

    No. The course has no prerequisites and is designed for complete beginners as well as those with some exposure to agile. It is the entry point to the EXIN Agile Scrum certification scheme.

    How long is the training programme?

    The instructor-led programme runs for 16 hours in total, delivered either as two full days or four half-days depending on the schedule. This covers all five exam topic areas and prepares you for the EXIN exam.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and mock exams mapped to the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation examination specification, so you can identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned with the latest Scrum standards?
