What Is Driving Agile and Scrum Demand in Japan

    Waterfall to Agile Transition

Many Japanese enterprises still run projects the traditional waterfall way. As they adopt Scrum, they need team members who understand agile events, roles and artefacts, exactly what ASF teaches.

ASF builds the Scrum framework knowledge teams need

    Digital Talent Shortage

Japan faces a forecast shortfall of 2.3 million digital workers by 2026. Certified agile team members are a scarce, sought-after part of closing that gap across industries.

ASF certified professionals help close the gap

    Early-Stage Agile Adoption

Engineers embrace agility, but wider organisational adoption lags. A shared foundation in Scrum helps businesses move beyond isolated teams to organisation-wide agile ways of working.

ASF spreads agile literacy across the organisation

    DX Pressure on Traditional Firms

Top-down structures and slow adoption of agile hold back digital transformation in traditional sectors. Scrum-literate professionals help these organisations deliver iteratively and respond to change.

    ASF supports faster, iterative delivery

    SaaS and Product Engineering Growth

Japan's SaaS and product engineering sector is expanding fast, and product teams run on Scrum. Foundational agile knowledge lets professionals join these teams and contribute from the first Sprint.

ASF prepares members for product-focused Scrum teams

    Team-Level Scrum Literacy Gap

Agile transformations stall when only leaders understand Scrum. A shared, team-wide grasp of roles, events and the Definition of Done keeps delivery transparent and consistent.

ASF gives every team member a common framework
