    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice exam with 40 questions. You have 90 minutes to complete it, and the pass mark is 65 per cent, which is 26 of 40 questions correct.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. It is delivered online with proctoring or at an EXIN accredited test location.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65 per cent to pass, which means answering 26 of the 40 questions correctly within the 90-minute limit. Our practice materials are mapped to this format.

    How and where do I take the exam?

    You can sit the EXIN ASM exam through online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited test location. We guide you through booking when you are ready.

    What topics does the ASM exam cover?

    What will I learn in the Agile Scrum Master course?

    You will learn to facilitate all Scrum events, coach teams as a servant leader, remove impediments, manage the product backlog, estimate and plan sprints and releases, and support agile adoption across an organisation.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. While Foundation-level Scrum knowledge helps, the training starts from agile principles and builds up to the Scrum Master role, so motivated beginners and career changers can follow it with the support provided.

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and mock exams aligned to the EXIN exam format, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness before the real exam.
