    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions, based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification. It tests your ability to apply Scrum Master skills in realistic team scenarios.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. The questions are distributed across the five EXIN topic areas, from the agile way of thinking to adopting agile.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 out of 40 questions correct. The questions are spread across all five topic areas, so broad mastery across the syllabus is the best preparation strategy.

    How is the ASM exam delivered in Italy?

    You can take the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Accredited training providers can also arrange exam access as part of your course.

    What happens if I do not pass the ASM exam?

    What topics does the Agile Scrum Master course cover?

    The course covers the five EXIN topic areas: agile way of thinking, the Scrum Master role, agile estimating, planning, monitoring and control, complex projects, and adopting agile. Together they cover the full Scrum framework and the Scrum Master role.

    Will I learn to facilitate Scrum events?

    Yes. You learn to facilitate all Scrum events, from Sprint Planning to the Retrospective, keep them within their timebox, remove impediments, and protect the team so the Sprint Goal stays in focus.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. While Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge helps, the training builds the framework basics you need before moving into Scrum Master depth. Motivated beginners with an interest in agile delivery can follow it comfortably.

    Is the courseware aligned to the EXIN syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification and the Scrum Guide, so what you study maps directly to what the exam evaluates.
