    It is a closed-book, scenario-based multiple-choice exam. Each question presents a complex multi-supplier scenario and asks you to select the best course of action, based on the EXIN SIAM Professional Examination Specification and the SIAM Body of Knowledge published by Scopism.

    How many questions are on the SIAM Professional exam?

    The EXIN SIAM Professional exam has 40 questions and a time limit of 90 minutes (1.5 hours). It is delivered by EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    What is the passing score for SIAM Professional?

    The pass mark is 65 per cent, meaning you must answer at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Because the exam is scenario-based, broad mastery across all five topic areas matters more than memorising facts.

    How is the Professional exam different from SIAM Foundation?

    Professional uses scenario-based questions that test application and analysis over 90 minutes, while Foundation uses straightforward single-answer questions at knowledge level over 60 minutes. Professional assumes and builds on Foundation-level knowledge.
