The Risk Skills You Will BuildFrom Strategy to Monitoring and Closure

By the end of the programme you can lead risk management end to end, from strategy and identification through analysis, response and closure. Each skill maps directly to the five PMI-RMP domains and to the tools employers use on real projects.

Set the Risk Strategy and Plan

This programme covers all five domains of the January 2022 PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline. You learn to assess the project environment, confirm risk thresholds and appetite, and build a tailored risk management plan for predictive, agile or hybrid delivery.

    Identify Threats and Opportunities

    Analyse Risks Qualitatively and Quantitatively

    Plan and Implement Risk Responses

Develop response strategies for threats (avoid, transfer, mitigate, accept) and opportunities (exploit, share, enhance, accept). You assign owners, set triggers, build contingency and fallback plans, and integrate reserves into the project plan.

    Monitor and Close Risks

Track identified, residual and secondary risks against triggers, run periodic risk reviews, report on risk exposure to governance bodies, and formally close risks while capturing lessons learned for future programmes.

    Prepare for the PMI-RMP Exam

Get ready for the 115-question, closed-book, 2.5-hour exam with practice questions mapped to the ECO, exam techniques and guidance on documenting your risk management experience and education for the PMI application.
