    What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

    The PMI-ACP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline (ECO), published January 2018. It covers seven agile domains, from Agile Principles and Mindset to Continuous Improvement.

    How many questions are on the PMI-ACP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 120 questions and an allotted time of three hours. Questions are distributed across the seven agile domains defined in the ECO, and the exam is delivered proctored either online or at a test centre.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP?

    You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience within the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile project experience within the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders already meet the general experience requirement.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. The passing score is set through psychometric analysis, and results are reported with domain-level feedback (Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement), so aim for broad mastery of all seven domains.

    What happens if I do not pass the PMI-ACP the first time?

    You have up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our mock exams, practice questions and trainer guidance are designed to build your readiness so you approach each attempt with confidence.

    The programme spans multiple frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming (XP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Crystal and Feature-Driven Development, reflecting the multi-framework scope of the PMI-ACP.
