    What is the format of the CSM exam?

    The CSM exam is an open-book, multiple-choice examination taken online through the Scrum Alliance member portal after you complete the course. No proctor is required, and the questions are based on the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives.

    How many questions are on the CSM exam and how long is it?

    The CSM exam has 50 multiple-choice questions and a 60-minute time limit. It is open book, so you can refer to materials during the online exam.

    What is the passing score for the CSM exam?

    You need 74% to pass, which means answering at least 37 of the 50 questions correctly. Our training and practice questions are designed to prepare you thoroughly for the first attempt.

    How many attempts do I get for the CSM exam?

    Candidates typically have three attempts to pass the CSM exam within 90 days of completing the course. If you do not pass at first, you can review the topics and retake within that window.
