Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The PMI-RMP is PMI's specialist certification in project risk management. It recognises your ability to identify and assess project risks, mitigate threats and capitalise on opportunities. It is designed for professionals who specialise in risk on projects and programmes and sets them apart from general practitioners.

    General

What is the PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)?

The PMI-RMP is PMI's specialist certification in project risk management. It recognises your ability to identify and assess project risks, mitigate threats and capitalise on opportunities. It is designed for professionals who specialise in risk on projects and programmes and sets them apart from general practitioners.

Is PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Greece?

Yes. As Greece 2.0 recovery funds flow into infrastructure, energy and banking projects, employers increasingly value certified risk specialists. Risk Manager roles in Greece average around 51,900 euros a year, with senior bands reaching far higher, so the credential supports strong career and earning growth.

Do I need a PMP before taking PMI-RMP?

No. PMP is not a prerequisite for PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many PMI-RMP holders also hold PMP, as the two credentials are complementary, but it is not required.

    Who should take PMI-RMP certification?

PMI-RMP suits project risk specialists, senior project managers, PMO and risk analysts, and consultants who advise on risk. It is especially relevant in Greece's construction, energy, banking and consulting sectors, where structured project risk management is in demand.

How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMI-RMP training fee?

For reference, the PMI exam fee is about USD 520 for PMI members and USD 670 for non-members, billed in USD under regional pricing. Prices can vary, so confirm the current fee at pmi.org. Do you offer corporate or group discounts in Greece?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, project teams and risk functions. Contact us for a tailored group quote for your organisation.

Is the exam fee included in the course price?

Is the courseware aligned to the latest exam?
