    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 questions and lasts 3 hours (180 minutes). It is closed book with multiple-choice questions, drawn from the January 2023 examination content outline and aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

    Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four exam domains, so aim for broad mastery of the whole outline.

    Where and how do I take the CAPM exam?

    You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal once your application is approved, within your one-year eligibility period.
