What Is Driving Change Management Demand in France

    Digital Transformation Overload

French enterprises are digitising fast, but many stall on adoption rather than technology. Structured change management closes that people-side gap and protects programme value.

Foundation and Practitioner training builds change practice skills

    AI Adoption Without Buy-In

As AI tools spread across French firms, unclear ways of working and employee resistance slow value. Certified change practitioners turn new tools into accepted new habits.

Learn to drive adoption and manage resistance

    Strategy to Execution Gap

French consulting clients increasingly want change delivered, not just advised. Practitioners who can implement change plans on the ground are the profiles employers now seek.

    Move from diagnosis to delivery

    Restructuring and Regulatory Pressure

Mergers, ESG duties and regulatory shifts trigger continual reorganisation in France. Skilled change leaders reduce disruption and keep people engaged through it.

    Build governance for constant change

    Change Fatigue and Resistance

Concurrent programmes exhaust French workforces and stall adoption. The syllabus teaches how to assess change saturation, build resilience and address resistance at source.

    Manage capacity, resilience and resistance

    Certified Change Talent Shortage

France has a deep pool of project managers but few credentialed change professionals. Holding both Foundation and Practitioner makes your change capability visible and rare.

Stand out with a recognised credential

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a two-level qualification (CM-F&P) that validates your ability to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation confirms your knowledge of change management concepts and models, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real change scenarios. Both are grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level qualification (CM-F&P) that validates your ability to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation confirms your knowledge of change management concepts and models, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real change scenarios. Both are grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

Is Change Management certification worth it in France?

Yes. Change management is a recognised profession across France, with change managers averaging around EUR 74,000 a year and transformation directors far higher. As digital change and AI adoption accelerate, certified change professionals are increasingly sought after by consulting, banking, IT and industrial employers.

    Who should take this course?

This course suits project managers, HR business partners, transformation leads, consultants and senior leaders sponsoring change. It is ideal for anyone in France who leads or supports organisational change and wants a globally recognised, method-based credential.

Do I need prior experience or prerequisites?

No prerequisites are needed for the Foundation level, which is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you must first hold the Change Management Foundation certification. The combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

    Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. The Change Management qualification is recognised in over 150 countries and is well respected across France, Europe, Australia and other markets where change management is an established discipline. It is a portable credential that travels across sectors and employers.

    Pricing

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all five syllabus areas, course materials aligned to the CMBoK, practice questions, mock exams and learner support for both levels. Exam voucher inclusion varies, so confirm the current package before enrolling. Request a quote for full details.

How much does Change Management training cost in France?

Pricing varies by format, schedule and whether exam vouchers are included, and is available on request in euros. Live virtual, classroom and corporate options are each quoted separately. Talk to a learning advisor for a tailored quote.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose. Some bundles include both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others price them separately. Confirm the current inclusion with our team before you enrol.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams across France. This suits PMOs, transformation offices and HR functions upskilling several people at once. Ask about corporate and group pricing.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the payment option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are there and what is the format?

There are two separate exams. The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book. The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each (80 marks total) over 2.5 hours, open book with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted.

What is the passing score for each exam?

Both exams require 50% to pass. That is 25 out of 50 for Foundation, and 40 out of 80 marks for Practitioner. You must pass both to hold both credentials.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, the 5 scenario-based sections require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential.

How and where do I take the exams in France?

Both exams are delivered by online proctoring or at an authorised test centre, and are usually taken at the end of each stage of training. You can sit them from home or office in France with a stable connection, or at a test centre.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can resit whichever exam you did not pass. Our training includes scenario practice and mock questions designed to prepare you to clear both exams on the first attempt, and our team can guide you on rebooking. Confirm the current resit policy with us.

    Course Content

What models and topics does the syllabus cover?

The syllabus covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organization, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. It includes ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin, Bridges, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model and Cialdini's influence principles.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation level has no prerequisites and is designed for professionals new to formal change management. The training builds knowledge step by step before moving into the applied Practitioner content, so beginners are fully supported.

Which standard and edition is the course based on?

The course is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK), maintained by the Change Management Institute, and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide. Course materials align to the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive course materials aligned to the CMBoK and current syllabi, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels. Materials support the closed-book Foundation format and the open-book Practitioner technique.

    How long is the training?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 40 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days depends on the schedule format, from an intensive full-day option to extended half-day sessions.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol and how soon can I start?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules and learning resources. Upcoming batches run regularly, so you can start soon. Talk to an advisor to see the next dates.

What training formats are available in France?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training. You can choose the format that best fits your schedule, location and learning preference across France.

Is the training available in English and French?

Training can be arranged in English, with French-language corporate delivery available for group programmes on request. Contact our team to confirm the language options for your chosen batch or team training.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training again. Contact support to arrange a change to your enrolment.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations follow our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment before you book.
