    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions, based on the EXIN ASM examination specification. It tests practical facilitation and Scrum knowledge, not just recall.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and an allotted time of 90 minutes. The questions are distributed across the five EXIN ASM topic areas.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    The pass mark is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Broad mastery across all five topic areas is the best way to prepare.

    How is the EXIN ASM exam delivered?

    You can sit the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. The exam is also available through accredited training providers.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    The course covers the five EXIN topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Master Role (25%), Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control (27.5%), Complex Projects (12.5%) and Adopting Agile (15%), with practical facilitation and exam preparation throughout.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge helps, but the training revisits the Scrum framework basics before building Scrum Master facilitation and coaching skills, so motivated beginners with some agile exposure can keep pace.

    How long is the ASM training?

    The Agile Scrum Master training programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered over two full days or as four half-day sessions, depending on the schedule you choose.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, and topic-wise revision aids that map to the EXIN ASM examination specification, helping you connect concepts to real Scrum facilitation.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest EXIN specification?
