    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The ASF exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is delivered through EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited test location, usually arranged through an accredited training provider as part of a training and exam bundle.

    How many questions are on the ASF exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 60 minutes (1 hour). It is a closed-book examination.

    What is the passing score for the ASF exam?

    The passing score is 65%. You must answer at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly to pass.

    What topics does the ASF exam cover?

    The exam covers five EXIN topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Practices (30%), Scrum Planning and Estimation (20%), Monitoring Scrum Projects (15%) and Advanced Scrum Concepts (15%), all aligned to the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification.

    What will I learn in the ASF course?

    You will learn the agile mindset and Agile Manifesto, the full Scrum framework of roles, events and artifacts, agile planning and estimation, monitoring with burndown and velocity, and advanced Scrum concepts such as scaling and continuous improvement.

    Do I need prior agile or Scrum experience?

    No. ASF has no formal prerequisites and is designed for complete beginners. The course starts from agile fundamentals and builds your knowledge step by step, so no prior agile or Scrum experience is required.

    How long is the training?

    The programme is delivered as 16 hours of instructor-led training, typically over two full days or four half-days, depending on the schedule you choose. It covers all five EXIN topic areas and prepares you for the exam.

    Are practice questions and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and mock exams mapped to the EXIN ASF examination specification, so you can identify weak areas and build confidence before the real 40-question exam.
