    How long is the ASM certification valid?

    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is closed book with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is delivered online proctored through EXIN or at accredited testing locations.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. The questions are distributed across the five EXIN topic areas in the official examination specification.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions correct. The exam tests application and analysis, not pure recall, so focus on understanding the Scrum Master role and facilitation in realistic scenarios.

    How is the exam delivered in Colombia?

    You can take the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an accredited testing location. Our team guides you through registration and booking.

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    You can re-sit the EXIN exam; resit policies and fees are set by EXIN. Our training includes practice questions and mock assessments to build readiness so you go in prepared. Ask an advisor about exam support.

    Course Content

    What topics does the ASM training cover?

    The training covers the five EXIN topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Master Role (25%), Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control (27.5%), Complex Projects (12.5%) and Adopting Agile (15%), with practical facilitation and coaching throughout.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. Foundation-level Scrum knowledge is helpful but not strictly required. The course builds the Scrum framework essentials and the Scrum Master skills you need, with hands-on exercises and trainer support to bring beginners up to speed.

    How long is the training and how many hours is it?

    The programme runs for 16 hours, usually delivered as two full days or four half-days. The schedule depends on the format you choose, so the total training time is fixed while the daily split varies.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock assessments, case examples and reference materials covering Scrum events, artifacts, facilitation and coaching, all aligned to the EXIN examination specification.

    Will I get a certificate after the training?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate after meeting the course requirements. Passing the separate EXIN exam earns you the official EXIN Agile Scrum Master certificate and digital badge.
