    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The ASF exam is closed book with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification, which is aligned to the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto.

    How many questions are on the ASF exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 questions and a duration of 60 minutes (one hour). It is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination.

    What is the passing score for the ASF exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is at least 26 correct answers out of 40. Focus on all five topic areas to build broad readiness for the exam.

    What topics does the ASF exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Practices (30%), Scrum Planning and Estimation (20%), Monitoring Scrum Projects (15%) and Advanced Scrum Concepts (15%).

    Where can I take the EXIN ASF exam?

    You can sit the exam online through EXIN's proctored exam system or at an EXIN accredited test location. It is often arranged through the training provider as part of a training and exam bundle.

    Can I retake the ASF exam if I do not pass?

    What will I learn in the Agile Scrum Foundation course?

    Can a complete beginner take this course?

    Yes. ASF is designed for beginners and needs no prior agile or Scrum experience. The training builds your knowledge step by step and prepares you for the exam with practice questions.

    How long is the ASF training?

    The instructor-led programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered over two full days or four half-days. It covers all five EXIN topic areas and prepares you for the exam.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams. These help you connect Scrum concepts to real delivery scenarios and build exam readiness.

    Is the course aligned to the current Scrum standard?

    Yes. The course is aligned to the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification, the current Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto, so you learn Scrum as it is practised today.
