    General

What is the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner certification?

AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner is a combined agile project management certification based on the DSDM framework and published by the Agile Business Consortium. Foundation validates your knowledge of the framework, while Practitioner proves you can apply and tailor it to real project scenarios.

Who should take AgilePM certification training in Chile?

The programme suits project managers, business analysts, PRINCE2 holders, delivery leads and team members who want to govern agile projects. It is ideal for professionals in Chile's banking, retail, mining, technology and consulting sectors adopting structured agile delivery.

    Is AgilePM recognised in Chile?

Yes. AgilePM is recognised in over 150 countries, including Chile, and is valued by employers that need agile delivery alongside project governance. It complements PRINCE2 and Scrum and is well regarded across banking, retail, mining and technology sectors.

Is the AgilePM certification worth it for my career?

Yes. AgilePM opens roles such as Agile Project Manager, Agile Coach and Delivery Manager, which in Chile command strong salary bands. As banks and enterprises modernise how they deliver, governance-led agile leaders are increasingly in demand. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

Do I need agile experience before enrolling?

No. AgilePM Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you must hold the Foundation certification, which the combined programme prepares you for first.

    Exam

What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice, single-answer questions to be completed in 40 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation portion of the training.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the AgilePM Handbook, and lasts 2 hours. It contains 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each, 60 marks in total, and requires applied analysis rather than simple look-ups.

What are the pass marks for the two AgilePM exams?

Both exams require 50% to pass. Foundation needs 25 out of 50 questions correct, and Practitioner needs 30 out of 60 marks. You must pass each exam separately to hold both credentials.

Where do I sit the AgilePM exams in Chile?

Both exams are delivered through online proctoring or at an authorised test centre, so you can sit them from home or office in Chile. The exams are typically scheduled at the end of the Foundation and Practitioner training respectively.

What happens if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can resit either exam if needed. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and first-attempt guidance to prepare you thoroughly. Re-sit policies and any fees are confirmed at enrolment, so ask our team for the details that apply to you.

    Course Content

What topics does the AgilePM training cover?

The programme covers the full AgilePM framework: the philosophy and eight principles, the six-phase lifecycle and products, roles and responsibilities, requirements and MoSCoW prioritisation, timeboxing and quality, and planning, control and risk, at both Foundation and Practitioner level.

What are the eight AgilePM principles?

They are: focus on the business need; deliver on time; collaborate; never compromise quality; build incrementally from firm foundations; develop iteratively; communicate continuously and clearly; and demonstrate control. These principles underpin every AgilePM project decision.

What is MoSCoW prioritisation in AgilePM?

MoSCoW stands for Must have, Should have, Could have and Won't have this time. AgilePM uses it to fix time and cost while flexing scope, protecting on-time delivery by ensuring all Must Haves, most Should Haves and as many Could Haves as time allows are delivered.

Is the courseware aligned to the current AgilePM syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook and the official AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi published by the Agile Business Consortium.

Are practice tests and materials included?

Yes. The programme includes AgilePM-aligned courseware, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and full mock exams, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness for both exams.
