    There are two separate PeopleCert exams. Foundation is a closed-book, multiple-choice exam testing knowledge and comprehension. Practitioner is an open-book, scenario-based exam that tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 Agile using the official publication.

    How many questions are on each exam and how long are they?

    The Foundation exam has 40 questions and lasts 60 minutes. The Practitioner exam has 50 questions and lasts 150 minutes. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials.

    What is the passing score for the PRINCE2 Agile exams?

    Both exams require 60% to pass. That means 24 out of 40 correct for Foundation and 30 out of 50 correct for Practitioner. Broad mastery of the syllabus matters more than memorising any single topic.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    You may use the PRINCE2 Agile publication during the Practitioner exam. However, questions require scenario analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the publication and solid method knowledge are both needed.
